Shadowrunners are (supposedly) elite urban mercenaries, professional to the core, and amazingly resourceful. But sometimes, they do the darndest things, such as:

1) Spend two hours of table time to set up having the inevitable head-bomb removed from the corp. stooge they were kidnapping.

2) Taking the stooge TO the dropoff point, without having the bomb removed.

3) Getting possesed by their own summoned spirit.

4) Throwing a lightning bolt at a man full of cyberware, and not putting enough force behind it to kill him.

5) Ending up on a two gameshows, a reality show, and the TV news killing the police, all in the same armored labcoat.

6) "This is an obvious trap!" "Nah, we're good..."

Managing to narrowly escape from a heavily guarded compound after miraculously escaping a bomb blast unscathed. With enemies in hot pursuit, managing to steal a getaway vehicle, piling in, and peeling out before realizing that none of us could drive.

Are you talking about stupid crap that people do in horror movie?

Such as going to the demons/ghost that is wailing on your ass home turf to confront it instead of making it come to yours?

Never mind. I reread the topic.  But I am curious on what you are referring to.

Cool Two words: Thermite Claymores.  Roll Eyes

Think of Shadowrun as what happens when Dungeons and Dragons showed up to a party at Johnny Mnemonic's house in the dystopian future of the '80's. Then they all got high on crank, started getting robotic limbs for kicks, and payed for it by committing crimes for megacorps on the downlow.

Oh, they elected a dragon president. He died. True story.
